Manuel Avellaneda, born in Cieza in 1938. In 1957 he moves to Madrid to initiate studies of Fine Arts in San Fernando’s art school and in the Circle of Fine Arts. In 1966 he moves to Murcia, where he develops his artistic and professional career.
Related to the parents of the best pictorial tradition of the 20th century in the Region of Murcia, as Pedro Flores, the sculptors Planes and Ramon Gaya, in the first years on returning to Murcia he forms, together with Aurelio, Párraga, Luis Toledo and others, the group Aunar.
Of expansive and anxious character he travelled across other cultures looking for the contrast and other regions looking for new landscapes.
